TIPEEE SAS, 71 rue Fondary, 75015 Paris, France (RCS Paris 529 108 334)
French creator-funding platform (TIPEEE SAS, ORIAS-registered) hosted in Paris: 8% commission and card payments through Adyen, an EU acquirer, but no public DPA or named sub-processors.
Tipeee, in the Membership platforms category, offers EU hosting with France as its hosting location, but a US parent or sub-processor leaves material CLOUD Act exposure.
Tipeee is a French crowdfunding and tipping platform for content creators, operated by TIPEEE SAS in Paris and registered with ORIAS as a crowdfunding intermediary (number 15000822), which is a supervised status no other platform in this category holds. It is also the only entry here whose card rail is an EU-incorporated acquirer: the terms name Adyen (Netherlands, and separately listed in our payments category) for card, Sofort, Giropay, iDEAL and Paysafecard, with PayPal and PayPal-owned Hyperwallet handling only the PayPal route. Hosting is stated in the legal notice as Typhon / Claranet in Paris, so the application sits in France. What holds the score at 3/5 is disclosure and periphery: the privacy policy names sub-processors only by role (web hosts, mailing tools, analytics, support tools) rather than by name, there is no public DPA, the site is fronted by Cloudflare, and Google Analytics, the Meta pixel, Zendesk and Google Workspace are all in the path: Material. Mailjet, the one named mail vendor, is French.

Tipeee is a French platform for funding content creators, run by TIPEEE SAS from rue Fondary in Paris and online since 2013. Supporters, called tippers, can give a one-off tip, a monthly tip, or a tip per published creation, which makes it closer to Patreon's per-creation model than most European platforms get. Creators publish a page, post news and gated content, and set counterparties, the rewards attached to each tier. The service is available in French, English, German, Spanish and Italian, and the creator base is heavily French-speaking.
Two things in the paperwork set Tipeee apart. First, TIPEEE SAS is registered with ORIAS as a crowdfunding intermediary under number 15000822, meaning it sits inside the French regulated-intermediary regime rather than outside financial supervision. Second, and more relevant to this directory, the terms name the actual payment providers: card payments plus Sofort, Giropay, iDEAL and Paysafecard are managed and paid by Adyen, the Dutch acquirer, while the PayPal route runs through PayPal and PayPal-owned Hyperwallet. In a category where almost every platform settles through Stripe or PayPal, an EU-incorporated acquirer on the main card rail is the exception. The commission is 8% including VAT (6.66% excluding VAT) taken from the creator, plus a transaction fee added to the tipper's payment.
The sovereignty gaps are on the disclosure side rather than the money side. The legal notice names the host as Typhon / Claranet in Paris, so the application is in France, but the site is served through Cloudflare, and the privacy policy lists its processors only by category (web hosts, mailing tools, site security, analytics, support, advertising) instead of naming them, which is the single biggest gap for a procurement reader. There is no public DPA. Google Analytics and the Meta pixel are both loaded behind the consent banner, Zendesk handles support mail and Google Workspace the corporate mail, and Mailjet, the one named mail vendor visible in the mail configuration, is French: Material. Best fit: French-speaking creators who want per-creation or recurring funding and care that the card leg of the transaction stays with an EU acquirer.
