US-incorporated enterprise CRM. Largest single CLOUD Act surface in B2B SaaS.
centralstationCRM (Germany) and weclapp (Germany, Frankfurt) are the strongest European CRM alternatives to Salesforce on EU Vetted's editorial assessment. centralstationCRM is EU-owned, EU-hosted, and carries no material CLOUD Act exposure; weclapp is EU-owned and EU-hosted with Frankfurt infrastructure. YetiForce (Poland, open source) is also EU-owned, EU-hosted, and self-hostable on EU sovereign cloud with no material CLOUD Act exposure. No European CRM matches Salesforce's full seven-cloud enterprise surface; the realistic strategy is to identify which Salesforce clouds you actually use before evaluating alternatives. Salesforce, Inc. is US-incorporated; CLOUD Act jurisdiction applies regardless of Hyperforce EU data residency.

US-incorporated enterprise CRM. Largest single CLOUD Act surface in B2B SaaS.
Salesforce is the default enterprise CRM for a generation of B2B sales and customer success teams. It is also the largest single CLOUD Act-exposed surface in B2B SaaS: a US-incorporated product (Salesforce, Inc., publicly listed on NYSE as CRM), with sub-processors and primary infrastructure under US jurisdiction. For a German procurement team writing a Schrems II transfer impact assessment, or a European public-sector buyer navigating the May 2026 Tech Sovereignty Package guidance, the ownership and infrastructure profile is what prompts buyers to evaluate alternatives.
We checked eleven European CRM alternatives to Salesforce on where the data physically sits, which sub-processors handle CRM records, and whether the platform holds a recognised European compliance framework (ISO 27001, BSI C5, EUCS, SecNumCloud); who legally owns the company came last, since it only matters once the first three hold up. The vendor's public DPA is the source document behind every row.
weclapp (Germany, EU-owned, Frankfurt hosting) is the most direct Salesforce replacement for DACH SMBs that need CRM and ERP in one product. centralstationCRM (Germany, EU-owned, no CLOUD Act exposure) holds the cleanest pure-CRM compliance profile, and SuperOffice (Norway, EU-owned, US sub-processors present) is the longest-running enterprise-grade European CRM, with Nordic banking and insurance references. None of the three, or anything else mapped here, matches Salesforce's full enterprise feature surface (seven major clouds, the AppExchange ecosystem, the Lightning platform); the realistic strategy is to map which Salesforce surfaces you actually use before shortlisting.
Switching CRM vendors is not a rebuild from zero. What carries over:
Set against that:
A CRM cutover has its own rhythm: six steps, taken roughly in this sequence.
For every product we read the public DPA, sub-processors document, hosting region declaration, and corporate ownership records. Each is timestamped. Signals are editorial, re-verified quarterly. We never accept self-attestation.
